Lectures beyond ULB

  • von Karman Institute Lecture Series

Modules on machine learning and digital twins for turbulent combustion, and on turbulence modelling and dispersion for flows over complex terrain.

  • ERCOFTAC courses

Modules on data-driven analysis and modelling of turbulent reacting flows, at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and TU Eindhoven.

  • Doctoral schools

Lectures on reduced-order modelling and data-driven methods for reacting flows, including the ENCODING doctoral network schools.

Supervision

Doctoral and post-doctoral researchers

He supervises doctoral and post-doctoral researchers at ULB, many in joint programmes with the VUB, the von Karman Institute, the Université catholique de Louvain, the Université de Mons, the Politecnico di Milano and the Università di Pisa. Their theses range from MILD and hydrogen combustion to reduced-order models, digital twins and the dispersion of pollutants in cities.
